iPhone owners use their phones for much more than just making and receiving calls. Due to all of the features and advanced capabilities of iPhone technology, people almost never put them down. Their constant use has created a trend of seemingly premature wear and tear and repairs compared to other phones that remain in cases, purses, and pockets for the majority of the day. Aside from wanting your expensive device to look as good as new for a reasonably long time, there is a way to easily avoid causing damage to your iPhone before it outlasts its worth, and that would be through the purchase of protective accessories.

One of the most valuable accessories you can get for your iPhone is a scratch protector for the screen. This is because the iPhone screen is extremely delicate, making them most vulnerable to all kinds of damages. A lot of the convenience attributed to the iPhone is due to its full sized touch screen, so if it becomes scratched or cracked, the device becomes either very difficult or impossible to use. There is a standard iPhone scratch protector for sale, which not only protects but also enhances your touch screen by reducing glare and fingerprints.

There is another type of iPhone scratch protector that is slightly more effective than the above because it protects your entire iPhone rather than just the actual screen. It is designed to snugly fit all iPhones and is thick enough to prevent things like objects in your purse or pocket from scratching or activating the screen. This protective casing is also strong enough to provide some protection from falls. It is made from the same material used to protect cars from scratches caused by loose rocks on the roads, so it is extremely durable in terms of cell phone protection.

These cases are so effective that most iPhone users find them an absolute necessity, and buy more than one of these at a time. Most retailers do sell these in packages of two so owners can have a spare, or keep an extra as a great gift for a fellow iPhone owner. Essentially, no matter how careful you are, accidents can always happen, so it is in every iPhone owner’s best interests to take advantage of the special protection that is available to them.

The Apple iPhone is much, much more than just a cell phone. It is literally a high tech media center containing nearly every communications and entertainment related device available, all packed into a sleek handheld device. Just about every cell phone user under the sun can benefit from the vast features of this device, especially when the video and sound capabilities of this device are fully taken advantage of.

Aside from using your iPhone to take pictures, watch video and listen to your favorite music, you can also download media files directly to your phone. You can do this by transferring movies and music from computers, cameras, and other such devices onto your iPhone’s hard drive; or you can download media directly from the Internet to your iPhone. When first searching for downloadable stuff online, don’t be intimidated by the countless pages of sites. There are a lot more poor quality download sites out there than there are fast, reliable, safe sites, so you’ll be able to narrow the results down significantly with a little investigative effort.

First off, don’t go with sites that seem to be run by amateurs, as they tend to contain a lot of broken downloads that lead you nowhere and are completely useless. Instead of skipping registration processes for sake of convenience, it is recommended that iPhone users stick to professional and authoritative media download sites. This also helps avoid downloading harmful content such as viruses and spam which are generally found on less reputable sites.

Also, it isn’t necessary to register to more than one or two download sites. If you’re patient and spend a little bit more time doing your research, you’ll find a reliable, quality site that contains all the types of links you’ll ever want, whether it’s for music, television, movies, or the likes.

Most download sites are easy for users to navigate and browse through the endless lists of file links. Sites that offer paid memberships provide millions of links, extremely fast download speeds and the highest quality files available on the Internet. Those that also offer technical support make the subscription fee beyond worth the price, which is usually a one time fee or a very low monthly fee.

Even better for iPhone users are download sites that are dedicated solely to iPhone users, which guarantee program compatibility and are designed to operate more effectively with iPhones than common movie and music download sites.

Apple iPhones are so useful in the sense that they can perform relatively limitless tasks in seconds, which means they are almost in constant use and rarely turned off by their owners. Such frequent handling of delicate electronic devices inevitably leads to wear and tear, accidents, misuse, and sometimes a combination, or even all of the above. Some people feel the only way they can protect their iPhones is to carry them around in large protective cases or to just leave them at home, but this takes away a lot of the convenience of having an iPhone to begin with.

In a way, to get the most out of your iPhone, you have to accept the risk of it becoming damaged or worn. The good news is you don’t necessarily have to replace your phone or send it in for repairs, both of which can be extremely pricey options. In fact, there are many circumstances where you don’t have to call or pay anyone to repair your iPhone, something many users are very hesitant to do since they rely heavily on their iPhones for both personal and business reasons.

Almost any part of an iPhone can be purchased separately and is generally rather inexpensive and easy to install. Furthermore, instructions and other helpful information on diagnosing and repairing broken iPhones are plentiful both online and through parts dealers. There are actually now several services available that are solely dedicated to helping iPhone users save a ton of money by providing resources on parts dealers, diagnosing problems, and other valuable tips.

Unfortunately, not all iPhones can be repaired for a variety of reasons; one being that some iPhones simply cannot be salvaged from their damages and must be replaced. In cases where you must hire someone else, it’s important to confirm that person’s credentials. Many hobbyists believe they can fix an iPhone and, in turn, users entrust them in hopes of saving a few dollars. More often than not, irreparable damage is done to iPhones when attempting to fix complicated matters. It is recommended that users go to a reputable technician or authorized Apple dealer when it is necessary to have a professional handle the repairs.

You don’t have to wait for something to go wrong before looking into all of the available resources for do-it-yourself iPhone repairs. The internet is saturated with tips on how to extend the life of your iPhone and where to find good deals on cosmetic and repair parts.

You are in cell phone heaven. You’ve just purchased your brand new iPhone and are the envy of everyone you know. Your new device has revolutionized the cell phone world, transforming a basic communication device into a minicomputer that can fit in a pocket. But wait a minute! How are you going to ensure that your recent (and pricey!) purchase stays in its pristine condition and in best possible working order? The answer: dress it up with relatively inexpensive accessories.

You can, of course, find these items from the store that sold you the iPhone in the first place, but don’t necessarily stop there. Check out various sites online—using that new iPhone!—to see what deals may be out there. As you do this, use the same caution you should always employ while shopping online: make sure the sites are reputable, trustworthy, and legitimate. And as you shop, be realistic about what you really need on your iPhone…a nurse probably doesn’t need a heavy-duty metal case, nor would a carpenter get much out of a case that won’t connect to a tool belt. Get only what you need to most enhance your iPhone experience and usage.

Now there are some basic accessories that all iPhone users should really consider buying. First and foremost is a protective case, one that will protect from bumps and bangs, dust, scratches, basically day to day use. The number of cases out there is almost limitless, so take some time to choose the one that will best suit your own needs and be completely functional.

Next, a screen protector is in order. Since the iPhone has a touch screen made of delicate glass, making sure you don’t ruin it with scratches, smudges, and fingerprints is a must. Even the oils on your fingers can eventually hamper the phone’s performance, so covering up the touch screen will save you plenty down the road.

Another accessory found to be especially crucial to iPhone users is an iPhone dock. With a dock, you can download music, videos, and charge your phone using a computer USB port. Most even come with a wall adapter, so if you want you can plug in and charge too. There are also stereo and Bluetooth headsets, designed for hands-free use. Obviously, the stereo headset increases your listening pleasure, while still being able to take calls, and the wireless Bluetooth headset helps to ensure you can still drive while talking on the phone.

We can now move into the less common and perhaps less vital accessories—but they can be quite useful, nonetheless. There are iPhone accessories available for just about every use you can imagine – arm bands for use while working out, belt holsters so you decrease the risk of back pocket “butt dialing,” and car kits that make it so you can integrate your iPhone with your car stereo.

Overall, the options are endless. Dress your iPhone to the max, or let it go naked, it’s up to you. Just remember, if you choose the naked options, you may get caught with your iPhone pants down!

Most iPhone owners know of the wide range of accessories available to complement their phone and keep it safe. Additionally, the iPhone owner’s manual gives concise, clear directions as to phone care and maintenance, as well as suggestions for keeping your iPhone in tip-top shape. For instance, the manual provides specific directions as to how to clean your iPhone, and which products to use in order to prevent damaging the screen. The manual also highly recommends having a protective case and screen protector as well, as these are the very basics of “must-haves” to protect your phone. Perhaps of greatest importance is protecting the glass touch-screen. This part of your iPhone is the most delicate and can be cracked relatively easily by dropping and/or rough handling. Additionally, even touching the glass with your bare fingertips (which are coated in oils), can eventually cause too much wear and tear on your iPhone. Therefore, of all your iPhone accessories, a screen protector is the most valuable.

There are also countless new accessories available to protect and personalize your iPhone, so keeping on top of the latest developments is part of being a responsible iPhone owner. Daily innovative products are introduced on the market for your iPhone, and most cost around $20 and up…rarely are they more than $40. Accessories can be found in a multitude of styles, colors, sizes, and materials, all designed to optimize and personalize your own iPhone.

Perhaps one of the most exciting of these new accessories is called the “Juice Pack Air.” This is a hard case with a hidden battery that can supplement your battery life. Therefore, this new accessory provides double duty: added protection through a hard case cushioned by air and a back-up charging system to guarantee you won’t be left with a dead battery. In fact, the “Juice Pack Air” is able to maintain a charge two times longer than the main battery itself. For true “iPhoneaphiles” this is a must-have.

Love your iPhone. Protect your iPhone. Accessorize your iPhone to your heart’s content. Just remember to do your research and be realistic about how much real use you will get from any new accessories you may purchase. All that said, if you are really looking for a way to “juice up” your iPhone, be sure to check out the new “Juice Pack Air.”

Picture this: you’re caught in a freak rainstorm and running for the car. Suddenly, you hear a sickening thud and look down to see your beloved iPhone lying in a puddle of mud. Or imagine that you’ve placed your iPhone on the coffee table and your beloved 2 year old runs by, spilling your water glass right on top of your phone. Water damage It has happened to the best of us. The question is what do you do and how do you go about getting your iPhone replaced or fixed. Before you jump right into it, first determine whether the phone was truly water-damaged or not. To do so, look straight down the headphone jack, where you’ll see a small dot. If the dot is red or pink, then your iPhone was truly damaged by the unfortunate water incident.

Before true panic sets in, be aware that Apple has changed their policies regarding replacing water-damaged iPhones. Currently, their new policy is to replace the damaged phone for $200. Keep in mind, however, that the replacement phone will be a refurbished version of your damaged phone, but it will still be in great condition—and will cost a lot less than buying a new one.

That said, if your iPhone is outdated, that $200 is a bit steep for a same-level model. If this is the case, you have other options. You can check with various phone repair companies—Apple included—to get an estimate on actual repair costs (this diagnosis and estimate are free, by the way). Worst case scenario, you may simply have to purchase a new phone outright; while this doesn’t seem very appealing, the constant technology updates out there may mean you actually get a phone you prefer more.

Ultimately, water damage is a major problem with no easy fixes. While Apple’s policy changes have gone a long way toward improving their customer service regarding this issue, it still isn’t the ideal. Again, the first step is not to panic and take your time looking around and considering your options. In the world of cell phone technology “taking your time” may mean as little as one to two days, so you don’t have to worry about being “incommunicado” for very long.

Apple has made sure that the users of the famous iPhone 4G get improve applications that improve the general usage and outlook of the iPhone phones. For instance apple has made it easy for one to watch and enjoy TV watching on iPad. This is iPhone 4G apps which distributes long form video clips of the popular NBC public affairs program.

The other most popular iPhone apps is the compass which also comes with a magnetometer which offers a great pointing aid in terms of getting ones direction in relation to the four points north, south, west and east. The compass app does not depend on the way one is holding the phone whether perpendicular or parallel to the ground. The arrow and numbers will still give you the most accurate direction where you are facing.

The applications is also adding a bonus application where the user can just hit the “find me” button in Google Maps a second time after it is already located in your GPS position this will re-orient your map to reflect the way you are facing currently.

The other iPhone 4G app is the Layar which is an augmented reality browser which helps one be able to use the magnetometer and GPS too. The Nike + support is one of the iPhone 4G apps that many iPhone users have been looking forward to. I personally bought the iPod Touch 2G to use it. It is now available in the many iPhone phones and is exactly the same as the one on 2G Touch and enables one the ability to run all features tat you are accustomed to when using on any other Nike+ device. What makes the iPhone 4G apps a thrilling experience is the fact that you are always with your phone. If you have a stereo Bluetooth headset you will be able to listen to music, run and even answer calls if need demands.

The iPhone voice control app is also real and works. This depends on whether you know the right commands for instance ‘call’ for the iPhone to call someone on your phonebook or contact list. You can also command a ‘dial’ for the phone to dial the number. The accuracy is a bit high and the iPhone 4G app on voice control can make out what you are saying as long as the background noise is minimal. This app is smart and if for instance you command it to call ‘Mike’ and there are many ‘Mikes’ in your phonebook it will read out the names of all Mikes and even ask you to be more specific if possible.

There are probably many people who already know that iPhone 4G internet is much faster than any type of wireless internet. When you make out a comparison with 2G/3G, you will definitely come to agree that the 4G will come out as the best internet connectivity. There are many reasons why iPhone 4G internet is faster and this means that you can watch streaming videos because you will be able to access the 4G bandwidth

Many people are aware that it is hard to use 3G internet when trying to watch streaming videos because the speed of the wireless technology is reduced when you are moving too fast in a car. This reduction is present whether you are going through the tunnel or even some obstruction or even not this is what crippled the 3G internet but the iPhone 4G internet has an improved feature that takes care of that.

Iphone 4G internet is also of low cost. You are able to get plans for affordable 4G internet if you are a user of 3G internet. The reason why it is fats and low cost is the fact that the 4G system is not dependent of phone numbers nor does it use the same frequencies as cell phones. You are also able to access more bandwidth available with your 4G system and can also work flawlessly with the IP6 system because it is designed to work with 4G internet. This also means that you will not have to worry about anything when that change to the internet goes into effect. This scenario is just like that one where TV stations were forced to give out digital signals

Iphone 4G internet is another sophisticated garget that is included in the cars and it is inbuilt to drivers who want their dashboard empowered with surfing abilities at high speed this is like having a giant smart phone built in to ones car. So with iPhone 4G internet you are preparing to get blown away by high speed internet access with a touch screen experience that promises video on demand, WiFi hotspot, real-time GPS updates and even real time traffic.

The 4G internet is available in the concept car with support from major players which in this case is the Apple’s iPhone. The internet is also moving away from the AT&T and is now adapting the new 7.2 HDSPA which is much faster compared to the AT&T network.

I have always told myself that there is a reason why Apple called this the iPhone 3G S where S is for speed and not 3GC for ‘compass’ or even 3GV for’ video recording.’ The Iphone 3GS has speed as it’s main upgrade and this is the biggest reason why you would probably upgrade to 3GS from a 3G that you already have.

Well I am also aware that the declaration made above might turn out weird because most of us do not go for features but specifications when we are evaluating phones and especially iPhone 3GS for that matter. So once you have tried a new garget it is only then that you will go back for it not-withstanding the price.

So when I base my points on the features, the iPhone 3GS is very much just like the 3G only that you are in a good position to realize that the screen is much more reflective due to the latest fingerprint defiant oleophobic coating. If you reflect a monitor with it you will achieve a rainbow effect as the coating works towards preventing a good deal of fingerprints and face grease.

The 3GS display is also slightly warmer than the 3G due to its orange/yellowish shade when you view it from side to side. When we trace back we will also agree that the 3G is warmer than the 2G. This does not distract in any way because the screen is somewhat easier on ones eyes even if the glow is bumped a bit higher.

When using the iPhone 3GS for emails, safari, camera or any other task you will not fail to notice the way it is fast. This is true if you take the 3GS and 3G and run all the mentioned programs simultaneously. I can compare the experience just like switching from a three year old computer to something much more new. It is obvious that the Apple did not intend to emphasize specifications in products such as the iPhone 3GS but with that speed they can not defy being boastful. The 3GS also has a 3 MP camera which adds auto focus and capture footage as well as getting an edge that will allow you tap on a segment of screen that you want to focus on as the phone by design adjusts to that particular point in space.
